Dear Reader(s),
Beginning in the middle of December (continuing throughout the month of January), Behind Sapphire will be commencing the recording of their first album! We are extremely excited to finally share our life's work with our friends, family and everyone else who finds enjoyment in our music. We are grateful to those who have supported us along the way, and to those who continue to support us! Thank You!
We are extremely pleased to announce that we will be working with Producer Tom Dobrzanski (Hey Ocean!, Said The Whale, We Are The City - in progress). Tom is a very hands on and experienced Artist, Producer & Engineer who has worked with Artists we deeply admire and are continually influenced by. Together, we hope to bring our musical ideas to life!

In order to afford such a feat, we will be holding many fundraising activities, including (almost weekly) Musical Performances and Bottle Drives. Please, keep a weather eye out for those events! We are extremely grateful to those plan to donate (time, money, experience, ideas) and to those who have, already. We are indebted to you. Thank you! Your thoughts count double to us!
To our friends and family: we apologize, upfront, for our distance, troublesome behaviour, ups and downs and noisy ruckus. =) Thank you for putting up with us and our antics!

Bonjour!
This gleeful sunny day began with the gloomiest clouds. As I sit here, in this hallway of passerby's, I long for the great outdoors! I long for the freedom of relaxation. School can really take the heat out of you. I feel drained and uninspired, like I've been sitting in front of my computer for hours. Basically, I feel like a Zombie. But, one glimpse of sunshine can really brighten the day. I must say, a joyful conversation would be the cherry, on what is already a perfect cake.
On another note, the Behind Sapphire show, last night, was fantastic! Lot's of memorable mess ups accompanied by a beautiful attempt to pull off our own music! Judging by the response, we did our jobs!
The next few months, are looking to be quite promising on the show front. We have a lot planned!
Also, we are, at the moment, looking for a Permanent Bass Player, & Drummer. Horray! Finally! Pink Clouds is up! The new version of Waiting By The Satellites!!! yes!!!
First off! I'd like to thank Gabe Mutch for coming out and recording the trumpet on Pink Clouds... Also Kush Chattergee for jammalamming the sax, clarinet and trumpet with us...we are looking forward to his input on much more material!
We are all bouncing off our chairs, yipping and yelling! Its like a bundle of mice that just got throw a block of cheese! Music! Music! and more Music!
Summer is here!!! This means more Behind Sapphire shows!!! We are planning in advance this time! Thanks to Less Than Three Promotions/Entertainment, and the Cates Park Concert Series, we are going to be enjoying a delightful summer evening of music in Cates Park, North Van (by the beach)! Come check us out, at this free venue!! Its going to be a gas! (August 9th at 4:00PM)
